The booking of the villa was made much easier because of the assistance given by Kampsever. She was extremely helpful both before our trip and also whilst we were in Kalkan. She organised our taxi from the airport and gave us some fantastic restaurant recommendations and general tips. She responded to messages immediately which was brilliant.
The villa was perfect for us. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped.
The sea views from all of the rooms were spectacular and the pool area was great. The chap who came each morning and evening was also really lovely and helpful.
We had a brilliant holiday and would book the villa again without any hesitation.
What can i say, we loved our holiday here, We had a week on our own just 2 of us, So much space then our grown up children arrived with there partners for the 2nd week still so much space.
We all had a great time, my daughters boyfriend proposed to her on the boat trip, celebrated my sons birthday, so many memories made here.
All the rooms were decorated beautifully, every window as a beautiful sea view, the roof terrace is amazing, the colour of the flowers just beautiful, lovely pool all to ourselves was amazing. The pool man brought us fresh bread most days a lovely chap, I love table football this was a plus. The kitchen was great, everything you need and a great water machine, was lovely to get there and have food and drink in the fridge.
We went into Kalkan most nights, we used whatsapp to the taxi driver, he had a 6 seater that was ideal for us all, we had a moped if we wanted to nip out in the day, not for everyone just took our time, then a car to visit the waterfall which we loved and patara beach.
Wonderful villa where both our families were able to relax and make the most of the amazing scenery. The rooms were perfect with Wi-Fi and full air conditioning - and our host’s advice and tips made for a perfect and relaxed stay - thanks very much !! We hope to come back to this amazing villa one day as it was a perfect base for an amazing holiday in kalkan !
This place is perfect for large families or holidaying with friends!!
The villa is very spacious and well laid out.
The pool area is fantastic and the views especially from the top terrace are amazing!!
Kalkan has loads of roof bars and restaurants which we found all to be very good!
Yelken cafe/bistro we found did the best full English. (10 minutes walk from villa)
Boat trip is a must!!!
We will 100% be returning.
We are a family group of 6 Mum and Dad with 3 children aged 23,20 and 17 plus sons partner.
We chose Villa NeNa after looking very closely at many villas. We made the right choice.
Villa NeNa is very well cared for, we felt very at home, it has a lovely feel to it, feels safe, nicely decorated, immaculate, equipped with everything you need.
We had plenty of room, it is very well designed which allowed us all to have time together and time apart if needed, we never got ‘on top ‘of one another. There are good shaded areas and the pool and the pool side furniture are excellent.
The maintenance man 'Jammin, works very hard and looks after the pool and garden, a friendly face every morning and evening and we appreciated everything he did for us. I loved the plants and pots and the touches that I noticed were missing from other Villas we had looked at (no plastic plants here!).
My son and his girlfriend had the roof terrace room, which they loved. As you will see in the photos, beautiful views, nice fresh décor and for them it meant they could relax alone together if they chose to. They did invite us up to the terrace for drinks prior to going to eat at night which was a beautiful start to the evenings.
My 17 yo had the Master room and my daughter had the twin room. They were all thrilled with their rooms and views. All the bathrooms are very modern and fresh.
Husband and I had the double room on the ground floor by the pool which suited us perfectly, when we retired to bed at night we were not disturbed by our younger folk who enjoyed staying up later, usually on one of the beautiful terraces off the kitchen playing cards and drinks.
The location worked well for us, often the 'children' would take themselves off to the Beach Club at Kalamar which is only a few minutes walk away (the best beach club in my opinion). We ate at local restaurants a short walk from the Villa and also used taxis to go into Kalkan town. A couple of evenings we had Pizza delivery.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Villa. If you are like I was and currently scrolling through villa after villa, I can't imagine you will find a nicer one in a better location.
Thank you Mustafa for your great communication and providing us with such a lovely villa, we had the holiday of a lifetime and have memories to cherish forever.
We had a great time as a family of four with 2 kids (3 & 1 year olds). The Villa is well equipped (could perhaps have a couple more wine glasses), and the views are amazing. Top of the list is the pool, where you can actually swim lengths! We spent a lot of time there with the kids. Worth noting that it is deep, so if you are under 5'8, you will struggle to stand in there with young kids if they can't swim.
The old town is a 20 min walk down hill, and £2-£3 back in a cab. We ate out most nights and had a really great time with so many fantastic restaurants. Worth booking ahead with the popular ones on tripadvisor.
We also booked a car once we got to the villa (Kampsever arrange transfers to / from airport), and it was much cheaper than hiringg at airport would have been. Really great for getting to Kas, Patara Beach, and a bit further afield.
The property agent was available for any questions we had, and the pool cleaned early every day which was great.
This was our 5th visit to Kalkan and hopefully we'll be back again before too lomg.
Villa Bahce suited us in all respects and it is difficult to single out any particular aspects for speific mention.
It is in a lovely, quiet, elevated position which affords terrific views across the towm, harbour and the bay beyond.
The villa is extremely well designed and is furnished/equippped to a very high standard. It is very spacious and though there were only 4 of us staying, it would be fine with 6 too.
The pool and outdoor areas are ideal for both sun worshippers and for those who prefer a little shade. Perhaps our favourite feature was the sun deck. This was great for late afternoon drinks, watching the sun down and for nighcaps, after enjoying the many fabulous restaurants that Kalkan has to offer.
The owner, Teresa was helpful and friendly throughout. We wouldn' hesitate to recommend Villa Bahce and hope to go back again soon.
This was our first visit to Kalkan, we had heard rave reviews about the resort and we were not disappointed. Some excellent restaurants and a very nice town centre ( although a bit hilly).
We have stayed in privately owned villas for the past 10 years and have to say that this was the best one so far. Teresa was really helpful and gave some excellent local information which really helped us to find our way around. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the contact from her was very efficient.
The villa itself is in excellent condition, is ideally located and very peaceful. It has an excellent sized pool which is cleaned every day and a maid service who are very friendly and the views are spectacular looking down over the bay.
Their are some excellent restaurants in Kalkan, we did not have a bad meal. Some of our favourites were; small house, Kosk, Rose & we also ate in Cafe Vita. We ordered a takeaway service from Cafe Vita a few times when we just wanted to relax and not venture out which was very good.
If you hire a car we highly recommend a restaurant up in the mountains which is also a trout farm called Bodamya Tepe.
This is our second time staying and the lovely Villa Reza. There is simply everything you need from a well equipped kitchen to comfy beds. The outside space is excellent with a really good sized pool with graduated steps for ease of getting in and out, and we were in and out quite a lot!
Villa owner is so easy to deal with so it is never a drag, she is supportive and provides good detail/information. We felt totally spoilt again with Muiten who came every day to check all was ok and when we arrived he went off and got us a big bottle of water, which lasted our 10 glorious nights. The ladies come in daily to empty the bins and make our beds, what a treat! The villa also has excellent views as it is situated perfectly and not very overlooked, which we really liked.
Kalkan is a lovely resort especially if you want some peace and tranquilty and we have been coming back here for a few years now.
Hasan Ali runs a fab taxi service (details at the villa). We would just message him through WhatsApp (all free) and he would come and pick us up. He even done our transfers this time and he did a good job.
There are some lovely restaurants and the villa is really well situated. 10 minutes walk to markets where you can buy everything you need. We used to walk out in the evening and then call Hasan for our cab home.
The villa is located just a short taxi ride from Kalkan (£3 each way and more taxis than you need). The view is amazing: watching the boats go out in the morning, back in the evening and the sunsets - wow!
Some really good restaurants locally and Bob - well great pizzas but works to Turkish time is close by.
The villa is really made for 4 as the 3rd bedroom is not connected to the villa and there are only sun beds for 4. However this did not spoil our holiday.
Hilde is a really good owner and responds quickly.
Would recommend this to adults and older children but not ideal for young children as the pool has steep sides.
This villa lives up to it’s name. If you like the charmingly maverick, this property certainly fits the brief as it is a clever, upside down house that works perfectly in the Turkish climate. Off road parking (always a bonus) leads down to an entrance hall with a water cooler, and further fridge/freezer, (genius, near the bedrooms and pool terrace!) two cool, ensuite double bedrooms each with picture French windows leading directly onto the pool terrace itself, which has comfortable, shaded outdoor seating, as well as sunbeds, all at the side of the infinity pool. Infinity continues with uninterrupted views of the the whole of Kalkan’s unique bay, itself within walking distance. Upstairs is simply breath taking. A huge light, airy, living/kitchen/dining area with a small additional terrace,(itself furnished with a further chair and tables) seems suspended in mid air, both affording more panoramic views as each with a sense of total space and calm. On the very bottom floor of this unusually appointed and well equipped villa (accessed by an outside staircase) is a further ensuite double room, a lovely shaded terrace with large table and chairs, children’s pool/grown ups lounging pool, which are out of the fierce afternoon sun, and wither bonus addition if an immense laundry/utility room and hanging area, an essential with lots of swimming gear and towels to keep dry. Set high in Kisla, which is a little bit out of the busy centre, yet within walking distance of a local shop, restaurants and two delightful beach clubs, this beautifully, maintained, unusual, well equipped villa really does deliver everything needed for a Heavenly Turkish holiday.
Went to Kalkan in 1994 and have always wanted to return and so picked this villa after reviewing and researching many in Kalkan because this one ticked all the boxes. We are a family of 5 (3 teenage daughters.) Had quite a bit of correspondence with the owner via e-mail prior to our visit and she was always prompt and helpful with replies.
Had a late flight into Dalaman and stayed one night in Gocek and then 1hr 20mins drive into Kalkan/Kisla to the villa. Parking provided.
The description and photos of the villa are very accurate and the views are just tranquil and the area is so peaceful and quiet. You can walk down to the seafront and there is some bathing platforms, water sports, café etc but only called the once!
The villa has all the amenities needed, plenty of storage space, air conditioning in all rooms that is excellent, TV/DVD quite adequate and water cooler available near bedrooms. Bathrooms quite small but all clean and sufficient.
The pools are just gorgeous, not overlooked at all and perfect size.
We hired a car but did use taxis at night to go into Kalkan, plenty of choice for restaurants all are very similar in standard and service. Did also have a speed boat ride from seafront near villa to harbour one evening £20 worth it as did a small tour of bay. Taxis cost approx. 16-18TL (£4-£5)
There is a couple of restaurants in walking distance and used Bob's restaurant quite a lot, particularly at lunch for pizzas or just drinks. Small supermarket there too for essentials ie bread, milk, etc. Three or four large supermarkets in Kalkan, we found Yali the best serving excellent fresh meats.
Lots of take away food available in Kalkan that also offer free delivery, plenty of leaflets etc at the villa.
Ramazan (concierge) and family come every day between 8-9 to clean the pool and water the plants and hose down the marble. Not intrusive at all but also prompt in dealing with any problems or queries.
Would definitely have no hesitation in recommending this villa to any friends or family. Walking into Kalkan would be possible but we were pleased we hired a car.
A couple of trips recommended would be -excellent boat trip with Yildiz, booking essential. Saklikent was awesome. Kas was OK but we didn't find the shops any cheaper than Kalkan. Kaputas beach at dusk was lovely and new staircase was much easier to climb than previously. Patara beach was wonderful sand, gorgeous sea, but restaurant, toilets, beds and umbrellas a bit grubby.
